Nacho Aldeguer is a Spanish actor, creator and singer based between Madrid and New York. Bilingual in Spanish and English, he has worked in film, theatre and television across Spain and the international market for more than 35 years, and also works as a producer, director and playwright. Alongside acting he is a recording artist with four released albums, and an established voice actor.
On screen: The Mallorca Files (BBC), Isabel, Cuéntame and La Pecera de Eva. In film he has worked alongside Adrien Brody, Penélope Cruz, Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac. On stage, a decade of emotionally exposed work with John Strasberg, Carlos Tuñón, Bárbara Mestanza and Simon Stephens: from a loving struggling father (Sea Wall) to a charismatic 80s lothario (Cuéntame), an endearing plumber with a cognitive disability (Seis Puntos Sobre Emma), or both an abuser and a victim of abuse (Sucia).

Through his own company Bella Batalla, Nacho Aldeguer has produced, directed and written over a dozen plays presented at Spain's leading national theatres and at international festivals such as Temporada Alta and Festival de Otoño. The company's work removes the divide between artist and public: the actor is one more audience member on stage.

Nacho Aldeguer is a singer, songwriter and recording artist. He has released four albums and spent nine years working on the most recent one until he felt it was finished. He writes and composes his own material, sings and raps — written and freestyle — and produces his own recordings, playing percussion, drums, piano and hang drum.
Music is a long-standing part of his professional life rather than a current release campaign: acting is his primary focus today, while the catalogue and live history remain part of his work as an artist.

After many years of continuous work, Nacho Aldeguer took a deliberate professional pause. He spent months living in different communities across the United States, Indonesia, Latin America, Europe and the Philippines, training in somatic education, making music and surfing — while missing sets and stages every step of the way. He is now focused on acting and on helping tell stories we can be proud of.
